Heeey, nice break down. You nailed the true details well. The explanation of the concept of what is always changing is not the self was helpful. I have heard this many times, but you explaining the fluctuation of changes that occur in the koshas brought light to this concept for me. I'm surprised that my yogic teachers , even in India, never pointed directly to the Koshas to get this concept across. Thank you.
I checked out your UA-cam channel and found your content very nice and thumbnail construction perfect. But the problem is you didn't SEO your video due to which your video is not getting more views. If you do video SEO your video will be on the top of the search list and your audience will increase. I also noticed that your video is not using tag, title-description-tag is not seo friendly, description is not correct and channel tag is not used properly. I can fix them if you want. And I will SEO your videos to reach your real audience.

Thanks Laura! I just found your video and it helped me a lot. I´m a speechTherapist in Brazil and I´m studing to became a Yoga Therapist. I´m just in love with yoga, but sometimes I fell a little afraid to do something different from what Ive been doing during 25 years....anyway, I can see lots of tools that will change my way of promoting heath....and it makes me happpy!

I love your channel and watch a video almost every day and even though I am a certified 200 hour instructor in 30 year practitioner of yoga. I learned something new every day thank you so much. One thing though is this is so minor be his if you go to your channel on, the fire stick app it’s arrangement on a mobile app. It’s not arranged by the type of video. It just is like so random how they’re posted there. I don’t know if you know that at least my phone a newer updated iOS device. On my iPad, it’s easier to navigate and my fire stick like I said it’s organized but not on my iPhone. It’s very just random. It’s not a complaint. I’m just letting you know where in New Jersey do you teach because I would love to actually come and take a class with you. I would be so honored I come and visit my aunt and the summer at her farm house .
Also, my monkey mind can’t handle the shorts on UA-cam mobile you cannot find a way to disable them. At least I haven’t and some of the content creators are so good that I have to follow them and especially if I get on there when I’m busy or at night it’s just trouble for me. Oh my gosh.

It is a bit harder to navigate on a phone (especially because they do push the shorts...and thats a fast way to hijack our nervous system & attention!) I have some old playlists that may be easier to follow as they organize some of the themes Ive shared over the years, but I have not organized them in a while so that would be a good admin task for me to work on in the upcoming months. Right now I only teach virtually- It gives me the greatest freedom to teach the way I want to and Ive found It greatly improves the accessibility to students that are looking for a deeper therapeutic practice (vs. being limited to in person) you are welcome to join the free live meditation sessions Sundays at 7pm ET & we have a great discussion group afterwards (not recorded). I have to stop you for a second and say with the addiction. Sometimes it’s not about seeking pleasure. Most of the time it’s not. People who are addicted to something because they’re seeking pleasure are usually able to very easily overcome their addiction. It’s when they are trying to escapepain because the pain is so deep and so acute that they need something to get out of themselves where addictions become scary and very very dangerous. Please clear that up.
yes, thank you for explaining that perspective. The challenge with UA-cam (or any recorded media) is that older content is not updated. When I redo the series on the Kleshas I would explain it differently from where my understanding is now. With any of the yoga philosophy I find revisiting it at a later point in life gives a totally new perspective & relationship with the concept. Especially Ahimsa...I teach that completely differently now (as someone in recovery from an eating disorder). Our understanding is always evolving.
What about letting go of expectations. And outcomes-non-attachment - it’s also a big part
yes letting go of anything that we may cling to...so very challenging when we look at that from different places in our life. It can also be supported by the niyama of Ishvara Pranidhana- surrender.

Namaste, Ironically "anxiety " put me on the spiritual path "who am I" I too saw different psychologists, psychiatrists who were not "in Tune "with the infinite and their solution was drugs. So with patience and knowledge and practice (patanjali's Yoga Sutras ) we can handle these obstacles.Thank you.
